The client had the opportunity to invest in a large-scale green hydrogen project in Europe and asked FEV to conduct the technical and commercial due diligence
FEV e+r: Our involvement and solution
Technical due diligence:
- Assessment of the technical concept from overall concept down to degradation and replacement assumptions
- Evaluation of selected suppliers, in particular the electrolyzer component suppliers
- Capability assessment of the project participants to build-up a large scale electrolyzer in a short timeframe
Commercial due diligence:
- Review of sales projections and business outlook
- Assessment of the business plan with regards to profitability, feasibility, bottlenecks and legal implications
- Review of agreements with electricity supplier (PPA) and hydrogen off-takers (HPA)
